Hello, sentient being who has disabled JavaScript/is using LibreJS!

This site uses as little JavaScript as I can get away with, but it does require JS to:

render mathematics; for this purpose I use KaTeX, which is freely licensed (and partially trans-made! 🏳️‍🌈)
slightly extend Hugo's highlight shortcode to show filenames in code listings. (The actual syntax highlighting is done server-side.)

100-days-to-offload

Written as post three of #100DaysToOffload.

I moved to sr.ht today. I’m really glad to see a static site host that is pretty much free software. This removes one fewer black mark from my tech stack — I don’t like GitHub for lots of reasons and hope I can avoid using it entirely soon.

The process itself was terribly simple. There is nothing that wasn’t covered in their own quickstart guide. Highly recommended.
